Chris Goncalo
Chris is a co-founder of Huda Beauty and the COO of the business. He oversees business development, operations and logistics and has played a pivotal role in the company’s growth story.

Karan Wats
Karan is the Chief Executive Officer at HBI where he oversees the running of the global family office and its investments across both public and private asset classes.
Prior to HBI, Karan set up and successfully ran a large cap global family office, he has previously also worked at Deutsche Bank in their corporate finance and principle investing groups. Karan is an experienced board member actively involved with strategic long-term planning and operations and sits on the board of Huda Beauty.
Karan holds an MBA from London Business School and a Masters in Chemical Engineering from Imperial College London.
Sharif leads all public and private investments at HBI.
Prior to HBI, Sharif founded and managed Safehouse Capital, the region's only global consumer equity fund. Before launching Safehouse, he was a Senior Analyst and Vice President at Amwal Capital Partners, a USD 1bn public equity fund.
Before joining Amwal Capital in Dubai, Sharif was a Senior Analyst and Partner at R Squared Capital in New York. He began his career in New York in 2011, when he joined Artio Global Investors (ex. Julius Baer Investment Management), a USD 35bn long only equity fund.
Sharif has over a decade of experience investing in the consumer and consumer technology sectors. He advises regional family offices and individuals on portfolio construction and sits on numerous advisory boards.
Sharif is a graduate of Economics from New York University (NYU).

Mahindar Kumar, CFA
Mahindar is the Senior Analyst at HBI. He works on the formulation and execution of HBI’s public and private investment strategy.
Prior to HBI, Mahindar helped create and manage Safehouse Capital, the region's only global consumer equity fund.
Mahindar started his career as a sell-side Analyst in 2014. He has worked at AKD Investment, the best performing mutual fund in Asia, where he was a member of the fund's Investment Committee.
Mahindar is a CFA charter holder and is a graduate of Institute of Business Administration (IBA) Karachi.
Lily is the Executive Assistant and Office Administrator at HBI, her role is to support the CEO and to coordinate office operations to ensure efficiency and compliance to company and regulatory policies.
Lily began her career at Havas Lynx, global marketing agency, working alongside the Office Manager to ensure a smooth running of the general office, assisting the needs of Directors, arranging and planning wellness activities for the wider teams, no days were the same.
Lily completed a Business Administration Apprenticeship with Distinction at Loreto College in the UK alongside an IT & Business Diploma.

Lauren is the Finance Director at HBI. She is responsible for the financial reporting of the company, offering financial insight and advice to support shareholders, and facilitating top management to make the best business decisions for the Company.
Lauren started her career at PwC UK within the assurance department and transferred to the UAE office in 2017. During her time at PwC, she worked on a wide range of clients from reputable multinationals to public sector entities. She has experience across a vast range of industries, working as a Group Financial Accountant for a UK listed Oil & Gas Company and later Finance Manager for an e-commerce start up.

Prior to HBI, Jerlyn was a Bookkeeper & Inventory Accounts in Honda CamSur Philippines and My Sanctuary Wellness Inc. Jerlyn holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration major in Financial Management.

Gen is a Finance Assistant Manager at HBI. He oversees all the accounting and reporting functions of HBI’s new business ventures and partnerships.
Gen’s career in finance and accounting span eight years across several companies and industries. He previously worked as an audit associate for Ernst and Young and as an accountant for the biggest fast-food restaurant group in the Philippines. Most recently, he was a general accountant for Xerox Emirates.
Gen has a bachelor’s degree in Accountancy and is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
Kate is an Accountant within the Finance team at HBI. She assists in the accounting and financial reporting function of the company.
Over the course of Kate's seven-year career in finance and accounting, Kate has gained experience working in various industries and companies. She previously held the position of a senior auditor at Sta. Ana Rivera and Co in the Philippines, and more recently worked as a senior accountant for a progressive enterprise based in the UAE.
Kate holds a bachelor's degree in accountancy and is certified as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
